MY CAGED LADY — OUTLINE V3

Genre: Psychological Thriller / Satirical Horror

Tone: The Silence of the Lambs × My Fair Lady × The Stepford Wives

ACT I — THE HUNT BEGINS

1.Cold Open – “THE CAGE” A POV shot from inside a cage: someone approaches. Keys jingle. A girl screams. Cut to black.

2.Meet Special Agent CASSANDRA HOLT Young, ambitious, precise—an FBI investigator modeled after Clarice Starling. She’s profiling a disturbing pattern of missing women, all outspoken feminists with large digital followings.

3.Breadcrumbs and Ghosts Cassandra interviews traumatized ex-associates of the missing women. One mutters, “It’s like they were erased… or converted.” A blurry screenshot of a girl in an old-fashioned dress, smiling, surfaces.

4.A Visit to the Winterbournes Cassandra tracks a possible connection to Jon David Winterbourne, an esteemed linguistic professor and cultic Christian figure. He plays charming, Delilah serves tea. They appear deeply faithful, harmless. Cassandra leaves… unsettled. (Audience thinks Delilah doesn’t know. She does.)

5.Inside the Manor Liza Riot wakes in the cage. The “Proverbs Protocol” begins. Delilah calmly tends to her. Cut between Liza’s indoctrination and Cassandra’s investigation—parallels drawn.

6.Pattern Recognition Cassandra begins to suspect something darker. Disappearances match Winterbourne’s speaking tour cities. A tip links him to an abandoned compound. She finds a cage. Empty—but a lock of dyed pink hair remains.

7.The Internal Cage Liza appears to break. She’s compliant, praises Jesus, calls Jon David “Sir.” He’s enamored. Delilah watches approvingly. Cassandra tries to subpoena the Winterbournes. The request is buried by higher-ups tied to Christian nationalist donors.

8.Going Rogue Cassandra breaks into the Winterbourne estate at night. She descends into the hidden lower level. Dozens of cages—most empty. Then: she sees Liza. They lock eyes. A hand comes down over Cassandra’s mouth. She’s captured..

9.Cassandra Survives Her First Night

Cassandra tries to escape her cage by breaking a hinge with her boot heel. Delilah appears silently and tightens the bolts by hand.

Delilah whispers through the bars: “Panic is a phase. You’ll move past it.”

Cassandra realizes escape attempts are anticipated—and designed for.

10. Winterbourne’s Lessons Resume

Jon David teaches Liza more advanced elements of the Proverbs Protocol:

●“Graceful Speech Drills”

●“The Economy of Silence”

●“Chastity of Thought” He praises her growth. Liza thanks him warmly and touches his hand—a first emotional slip that hooks him.

11. Cassandra’s Interrogation

Jon David questions Cassandra like she’s a theological opponent, not a prisoner.

She profiles him in real time, analyzing his speech patterns, revealing his insecurity.

He snaps—briefly.

Delilah calmly resets him with a gentle hand on his shoulder.

Cassandra sees the power dynamic clearly: Delilah is the spine; Jon David is the mouth.

12. The Invisible Girls

Cassandra hears faint tapping from nearby cages at night—Morse code.

Liza hears it too.

But Delilah begins a “Night Silence” ritual, blasting hymns through hidden speakers to drown the communication.

The sound is overwhelming, suffocating, religiously weaponized.

13. Liza’s Inner Calculation

We see Liza studying Delilah, not Jon David.

She mimics Delilah’s posture, voice cadence, and mannerisms.

She’s building the persona she knows Jon David responds to:

the obedient daughter-wife born from Delilah’s mold.

This is where she becomes truly dangerous.

14. Cassandra Traces the Origin

From scraps of conversation, Cassandra deduces the timeline of disappearances.

She counts at least twelve prior victims.

She confronts Liza softly through the bars:

“We are not the first. But we can be the last.”

Liza smiles politely and murmurs, “The professor is good to me.”

Cassandra’s eyes widen—she realizes Liza is team-playing, not broken.

15. Jon David Wavers

For the first time Jon David allows doubt to enter his mind.

He confesses to Liza:

“Sometimes I fear the world. I fear I wasn’t chosen for this work.”

She comforts him with a perfectly measured, fake softness.

Delilah watches from the shadows, nodding approvingly—she sees a future foot soldier.

16. The Sunday Ritual

A weekly ritual involving all the cages:

●scripture recitations

●synchronized kneeling

●eye-contact drills

●“The Litany of Gratitude”

Jon David leads. Delilah observes.

Liza performs flawlessly. Cassandra refuses to kneel.

The punishment: isolation, darkness, disorientation.

Still, Cassandra holds her ground.

17. The Wedding Proposition

Jon David privately tells Liza he believes she has become his “thirteenth miracle.”

He proposes a future union—a sacred marriage to display to the world.

Delilah stands beside them and says,

“A daughter becoming a wife is the highest arc of redemption.”

Liza bows her head with holy humility…

…but her eyes flicker with calculation.

She has now earned total access, and Jon David fully believes her love is real.

18. Cassandra Attempts a Counter-Move

Cassandra fakes compliance in tiny ways—echoing a verse, softening her voice, bowing her head—to earn privileges like water, a longer tether, or proximity to another cage.

She uses this to gather intel from whispered breaths of other captives.

But Delilah catches the “shift” instantly.

Delilah kneels by Cassandra’s cage and says quietly:

“Your mind is strong, but your spirit is brittle. You will snap before you bend.”

Delilah means it as prophecy, not threat.

19. Liza’s Perfect Bloom

Liza completes the Proverbs Protocol flawlessly.

Jon David begins treating her as:

●his apprentice

●his crowning achievement

●the proof of his theology

He gives her access to Delilah’s sewing room, kitchen, prayer studio.

She can walk the house (supervised).

She dines at their table.

To Jon David, she’s the daughter-bride he remade.

To Delilah, she’s a loyal second soldier of Christ.

To Cassandra, Liza looks terrifyingly… convincing.

20. Expansion of the Operation

Winterbourne uses Liza’s “transformation” as evidence that the Protocol works.

He records videos with her.

He writes pamphlets.

He expands the underground network.

Donors (politicians, megachurches, militias) send money.

The audience sees the nightmare:

Jon David’s ideology is spreading.

His evil is working.

He’s winning.

Liza smiles gracefully in every frame.

She sells the lie perfectly.

21. Cassandra Tries a Full Escape

Using a loosened bolt and a stolen pin, Cassandra breaks the floor grate under her cage.

She crawls through a ventilation shaft—cut, bleeding, whispering the escape route to other girls as she passes.

For one moment, it seems like she might escape.

The music softens.

Her breathing steadies.

She emerges into a parlor—only to see Delilah already waiting, sitting calmly, Bible open.

Delilah:

“You strayed from the flock. You will not again.”

Jon David enters behind Cassandra carrying zip ties.

The escape attempt fails brutally and decisively.

22. Winterbourne’s Total Ascendancy

Jon David now publicly debuts the “Winterbourne Institute for Feminine Excellence.”

A website launches.

A podcast debuts.

Liza appears as a converted guest, radiant and demure.

He is becoming a national figure.

His ideology is catching fire.

He is smug, proud, fulfilled.

Cassandra watches a livestream of his triumph from her cage, gagged.

Jon David blows a kiss to the camera.

He’s not blowing it to viewers.

He’s blowing it to Liza.

He believes she loves him—completely.

23. Cassandra’s Breaking Point

Winterbourne stages a mock “obedience trial” with Cassandra.

He publicly humiliates her in front of the other girls.

She refuses to kneel, so Delilah strikes her with a hymn stick.

Jon David whispers,

“This is mercy. You brought this upon yourself.”

Cassandra finally collapses—not spiritually, but physically, dehydrated and delirious.

Winterbourne believes the collapse is a “conversion breakthrough.”

Delilah quietly shakes her head.

“She won’t convert. She will die.”

Jon David shrugs:

“Then death will be her washing.”

He moves on without remorse.

24. Liza’s Final Test of Loyalty

Jon David asks Liza to demonstrate her obedience by delivering scripture over Cassandra’s collapsing body.

Liza kneels beside Cassandra.

Cassandra whispers:

“Please… you’re still in there…”

Liza strokes Cassandra’s hair gently, tenderly.

Her expression unreadable.

She whispers back:

“I am exactly who I need to be.”

Jon David beams with paternal pride.

25. Cassandra’s Death — Jon David’s Victory

Cassandra’s body finally gives out during a “Purification Fast.”

Delilah checks her pulse.

Jon David bows his head and says,

“A martyr to the truth. She died refusing grace.”

He orders her body placed in an unused cage and hung like a relic in the underground chapel.

A symbol of stubborn femininity defeated.

The other girls are ordered to walk past her cage and whisper:

“Order over chaos.”

Liza walks past last.

She looks at Cassandra’s corpse.

Her eyes flicker.

To Jon David, it’s love.

To Delilah, it’s devotion.

To the audience, it’s something far more complicated.

Jon David has won.

Completely.

Without consequence.

For now.
